In this entire process, students who have secured more than 50% marks in class 8th are given priority. Apart from this, students are shortlisted on the basis of online quizzes in this entire process. Under this entire selection process, students’ performance in academics to performance of extra curricular activities are calculated in this way:
- Class 8 marks: 50%
- Evaluation on participating in Quiz online: 10%
- In the last 3 years, students who have participated in school level scientific competitions are given 5% weightage
- students who participated in district level competition 2%weightage,
- students who participated in state level competition 5% weightage
- Students who have been associated in Olympiad, sports, competition etc. are given 5% additional weightage
- Also, students studying in rural areas are given an additional 15% weightage.
